Covered bridge in New Hampshire. We stumbled across this accident. We got lost and took a wrong turn, and found this lovely bridge. Serendipity! Posted by Picasa

The pavilion that houses Plymouth Rock. The rock itself truly is not much to see. It lies at the bottom of this pavilion and is still exposed to the effects of the surf, so there's not much left of it. But at least I can now say that I've seen Plymouth Rock.  Posted by Picasa

I was told this was Edna St. Vincent Millay's house. Austerlitz, New York. Up a long dirt road, but worth the view... Posted by Picasa

I laid down on the rocks at the bottom of this lighthouse to take this photo. All around me were lots of photography students taking pretty much the same shot, except not on their bellies! Posted by Picasa
